Crispy Marinated Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. carrots, thinly sliced
    1/3 c. chopped onions
    1/3 c. chopped green peppers
    1/2 c. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. prepared mustard
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    Cook carrots in a small amount of boiling water about 5 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain.
    Combine carrots, onions and green peppers; set aside.
    Combine vinegar, oil, sugar, mustard and Worcestershire sauce in a jar.
    Cover tightly and shake vigorously.
    Pour over vegetables; toss lightly with a fork. Refrigerate overnight.
    Yield: 6 servings.
