Chocolate-Caramel Layer Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
    2/3 c. evaporated milk, divided
    1 (18 oz.) pkg. regular German chocolate cake mix
    3/4 c. butter or oleo, softened
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
Preparation
    Combine caramels and 1/3 cup milk in top of double boiler. Cook and stir constantly until caramels are completely melted. Remove from heat.
