Dee'S Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head lettuce
    1/4 c. chopped celery
    10 oz. pkg. frozen peas
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    6 oz. can water chestnuts
    2 c. mayonnaise
Preparation
    Layer ingredients in 9
    x
    13-inch
    pan.
    Spread mayonnaise over top and sprinkle with sugar.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Before serving, top
    with
    crumbled
    bacon, 3 to 4 sliced boiled eggs, 3 sliced tomatoes and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
