Boston Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 medium eggs (unbeaten)
    2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
Preparation
    Sift the flour with soda and salt.
    Add brown sugar, shortening, buttermilk and vanilla and beat for 2 minutes, scraping bowl constantly.
    Add unbeaten eggs and melted chocolate. Continue beating for 2 more minutes.
    Pour into two greased and floured 9-inch pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Cool layers and put together with Brown Butter Icing.
