Mom'S Chocolate Layer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. water
    1 stick butter
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
Preparation
    In one bowl, mix flour, sugar and salt.
    In another bowl, mix eggs, soda, buttermilk and vanilla.
    In a saucepan, mix water, butter and cocoa.
    Bring to a boil.
    Mix together dry ingredients, egg mixture and hot mixture.
    Mix well.
    Pour into 9 x 13-inch cake pan (greased and floured) and bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
