Hot German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon
    1/2 c. sliced celery
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    dash of pepper
    6 c. sliced, cooked red potatoes, with skins
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp. Drain and crumble. Reserve 1/4 cup bacon drippings. Saute onion and celery in drippings until tender. Blend in flour, sugar, salt, celery seed and pepper.
    Add vinegar and water.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute. Stir in bacon and potatoes.
    Serve immediately.
