Shrewsbury Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    3 scant c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. milk
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add milk, flour, baking powder and vanilla. Pour into tube pan and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
