    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Preparation
Cream together butter, sugar and slightly beaten egg.
Add vanilla, dry ingredients and milk.
Melt chocolate (microwave works) and mix into dough.
    Dough will be thick.
I knead it with my hands until uniform in color.
Add nuts; divide dough into halves and form into 2 long rolls on plastic wrap.
    Chill dough until firm.
Unwrap roll and slice thinly, about 1/2-inch.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for about 10 minutes.
Cookies will not puff up. Dough will keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Makes about 40 half dollar size cookies.
