Cheese Straws - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 cups sifted flour
1 pound New York sharp cheese
1 cup margarine
1 teaspoon salt
1/2-1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Preparation

Allow cheese and margarine to reach room temperature or become soft. Grate the cheese. Mix all ingredients together. Fill a cookie press with the dough. Line cookie sheets with waxed paper. Using press, put the dough onto cookie sheets and cut into the desired length. Cook in 325 degree oven for approximately 15 minutes. Allow to cool on brown paper.
