Chow Mein - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. veal
    1 lb. pork or 1 chicken
    1 c. onions
    1 c. celery
    1 can bean sprouts
    1 can mixed vegetables
    1 can mushrooms
    1 can water chestnuts
    soy sauce
Preparation
    Cook veal and pork in water until done.
    (Cook chicken until done, if used.)
    Cook chopped onions and celery until done, then add next 4 ingredients and cook altogether about 20 minutes. Thicken with cornstarch or flour.
    Add soy sauce to taste.
    Serve over cooked rice.
    Makes a lovely meal.
