Homemade Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk
    6 eggs
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    4 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 large can milk
    3 qt. whole milk
    6 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. maple (optional)
Preparation
    Scald first 6 ingredients.
    Make sure it's free from lumps (put it through a sieve).
    Add whole, milk, vanilla and maple. Makes 1 1/2 gallons ice cream.
