Homemade Vegie Soup With Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 chicken breasts
    1 c. onion
    1/2 c. green pepper
    1 can tomato paste
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    1 c. diced potatoes
    1/2 c. peas
    1/2 c. lima beans
    1/2 c. corn
    1/2 c. carrots
    1/2 tsp. garlic (minced or fresh)
    1/2 tsp. basil
    dash of spicy season
    salt and pepper (optional)
Preparation
    Boil chicken breasts in 4 to 6 cups of water for 30 minutes. Remove chicken; set aside to cool.
    Meanwhile, add vegies, tomato paste, tomatoes and spices.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat to simmer until vegies are tender.
    Add chicken taken off the bone and diced.
    Simmer 30 to 50 minutes.
