Scalloped Celery - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. coarsely chopped celery
    1/4 c. slivered blanched almonds
    1 (6 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
    5 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. chicken broth
    1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Boil celery for 5 minutes.
    Drain.
    Then mix with almonds, chestnuts and mushrooms.
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Add flour and cook until it bubbles.
    Gradually add 1/2 cup milk and chicken broth.
    Cook until thick.
    Blend celery mixture into sauce.
    Bake in a casserole.
    Top with bread crumbs and cheese.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until hot and bubbly.
