Easy Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. ground beef, drained
    3 medium onions, chopped
    4 to 6 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 Tbsp. plain flour
    1 Tbsp. light brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. oregano
    1 Tbsp. salt (optional)
    2 large cans tomatoes, chopped (1 lb. 12 oz.; don't drain)
    3 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans
    1 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
Preparation
    Brown meat and chopped onions in large, heavy pan and drain. Sprinkle with salt.
    Stir in chopped tomatoes until well blended. Add chili powder, oregano, flour, brown sugar, cumin and undrained kidney beans.
    Simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, uncovered, for flavor to blend.
    Makes 10 to 12 servings.
