Pineapple-Cherry And Almond Quick Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1/3 c. salad oil
    1 egg
    1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
    1/2 c. maraschino cherries, quartered
    1/2 c. blanched almonds, slivered
Preparation
    Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in bowl; stir well to blend.
    Combine milk, oil and egg in small bowl.
    Beat slightly.
    Add all at once to dry ingredients, stirring just until all dry ingredients are moistened.
    Fold in pineapple, cherries and almonds.
    Spread in greased 9 x 5 x 2-inch loaf pan.
    Let rest for 20 minutes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 65 to 70 minutes.
    Remove from pan.
    Cool on rack.
