Caramel Icing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix together all ingredients in a 2-quart saucepan.
Bring to a rapid boil for 1 minute.
Remove from heat and beat with mixer on high until thick enough to spread.
It takes quite a while to beat.
Goes great on white or spice cake.
