Shanghai Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 can mushrooms (optional)
    1 large can chow mein noodles
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 large bag frozen mixed vegetables (16 oz.)
    soy sauce
Preparation
    Season and brown meat in skillet; drain.
    Cook rice (1 cup rice-2 cups water).
    Bring to boil, turn to low, cover and cook 20 minutes; do not rinse.
    Mix soup, mushrooms and vegetables together with meat and rice.
    Add soy sauce to taste.
    Put in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Top with noodles and bake at 350\u00b0 until bubbly. Do not cook vegetables before mixing.
