Spinach Salad Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 egg
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. white vinegar
dash of salt
1 1/2 Tbsp. bacon drippings

Preparation

Beat egg and add sugar, vinegar, bacon drippings and salt. Bring to a full boil; let cool and then chill.
Serve over spinach leaves, topped with purple onions and chopped bacon.
