Shrimp Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. chopped green onion
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. half and half
    1 c. medium shrimp or fresh
    2/3 c. grated medium sharp cheese
    2 Tbsp. diced pimentos
    1/4 tsp. horseradish mustard
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. white pepper
    2 dashes Tabasco sauce
Preparation
    Saute onions and pepper in butter until clear and soft.
    Stir in flour and mix thoroughly.
    Remove from stove and stir in cream until smooth.
    Return to stove and cook over medium heat until thickened (add milk if too thick).
    Add shrimp, cheese, pimento, mustard, salt, pepper and Tabasco sauce.
    Stir until cheese is melted but do not boil.
    Spoon over potatoes (6).
