Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. popped corn
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Place popped corn into roasting size pan.
    Mix sugar, margarine, corn syrup and salt in saucepan and cook gently on medium heat, stirring constantly.
    When begins to boil, cook 5 minutes longer.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in soda and vanilla (dissolved together) until mixture foams.
    Pour over popcorn, stirring to coat.
    Bake 1 hour at 200\u00b0, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool and crumble into small pieces.
