Boston Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. shortening or butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. flour
    few grains salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/3 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. seeded raisins
    1/3 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cream
    the butter.
    Beat in sugar and egg.
    Add 1/2 cup flour sifted with soda and salt.\tAdd cinnamon, nuts, raisins and
    1/2 cup flour.\tMix well.
    Drop by teaspoonful on baking sheet.
    Bake at\t350\u00b0
    for
    approximately
    10 minutes.
    Makes about 36 cookies.
