Baked Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 c. milk, scalded
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine slightly beaten eggs with sugar and salt.
    Slowly stir in slightly cooled milk and vanilla.
    Pour into 1-quart casserole dish.
    Fill a 9-inch cake pan with water and place casserole dish in the water.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    The custard is done when knife comes out clean.
