Easy Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 lb. ground lean beef chuck
1 (14 oz.) bottle ketchup
1 (14 oz.) bottle water
1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder or to taste
1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 large onion, sliced
salt and pepper to taste
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
grated cheese (optional)
Preparation

In a Dutch oven, combine meat, ketchup, water, chili powder, vinegar, onion, salt and pepper.
Simmer for about 45 minutes, making sure to crumble meat into small pieces as it cooks.
Add partially drained beans and simmer about 15 minutes longer.
If desired, serve with topping of grated cheese.
