Family Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. (3/4 inch thick) beef top round steak
3 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
1/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 c. sliced onion (1/4-inch)
2 medium carrots, cut into 1 1/2 x 1/4-inch strips
1 (10 oz.) can condensed French onion soup
Preparation

With mallet, pound steak to 1/4-inch thickness.
Cut into 6 pieces.
In 9-inch pie pan, stir together flour, parsley, thyme and pepper.
Coat steak with flour mixture.
