Poppy Seed Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 chicken, boiled whole or in pieces in salted water
2 sticks butter, melted
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 small container sour cream
1 small box Ritz crackers, crushed
1 Tbsp. poppy seeds
Preparation

Take meat off boiled chicken and cut up when cool. Take skin off, if desired. Combine seeds, crackers and butter. Put layer of this on bottom of a 9 x 12-inch casserole dish. Mix chicken pieces, soup and sour cream. Layer in casserole dish. Put another layer of cracker crust mixture on top of chicken mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes, uncovered. Makes one large or 2 to 3 small casseroles. May be made and frozen before cooking.
