Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. Crisco
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
2 c. buttermilk
1 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Sift dry ingredients and cut in Crisco until mixed thoroughly.
Add buttermilk and dissolved yeast.
Mix well.
Roll on floured board and cut as for biscuits. Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 12 minutes.
Makes 6 dozen.
You may cook small amount and store unused dough in refrigerator in a covered bowl.
Will keep two weeks or more.
