Chicken Noodle Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 1/2 lb.) chicken
    3 1/2 qt. water
    2 onions
    2 bay leaves
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. saffron
    4 oz. noodles
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Cover chicken with water; add salt, bay leaves and onions. Bring to boil.
    Cover and simmer 2 1/2 hours; skim off top.
    Remove chicken from stock; discard skin and bones and bay leaves.
    Chop meat and return to stock.
    Bring to boil; add saffron and noodles and cook at medium heat for 30 minutes.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
