Creamy Peach Double Decker - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can sliced peaches, diced
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. orange Jell-O
    2 c. boiling water
    1 1/2 c. cold water
    1 (4 oz.) container Cool Whip, thawed
Preparation
    Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water and chill until thickened. Fold peaches
    into\thalf
    of
    the Jell-O and spoon into mold or pan.
    Chill
    until\tset,
    not
    firm, about 10 minutes. Blend whipped topping
    into
    remaining
    Jell-O
    and spoon over clear layer.
    Chill until firm, about 4 hours.
    Makes 5 cups.
