Stir-Fry(Stir-Fried Beef And Peppers) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. regular long-grain rice
    1 lb. beef round bottom round steak
    3 tsp. soy sauce
    3 Tbsp.dry sherry
    4 tsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1/2 lb. mushrooms, thinly sliced
    2 medium onions, quartered
    2 small green and/or red peppers, cut in chunks
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Prepare rice as label directs.
    Cut round steak lengthwise in half, then cut diagonally into paper thin slices.
    In medium bowl, mix soy sauce and the next four ingredients; add beef and toss lightly to coat.
    Set aside.
