Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 to 8 apples, sliced
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Place sliced apples in a buttered 9 x 9-inch pan.
Blend together with a pastry blender (as for making pie dough) the butter, sugar, flour and cinnamon.
Work until crumbly, then pack closely over the apples.
If the apples are very dry, a little water may be placed in the bottom of the pan.
Bake 45 to 60 minutes at 375\u00b0.
Serve warm with whipped cream.
Serves 5 or 6.
