Bourbon Hot Dogs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. onions, finely chopped
    1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    1/2 c. ketchup
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. bourbon
    2 lb. hot dogs, cut in 1-inch pieces
Preparation
    Brown onions in butter.
    Add remaining ingredients except hot dogs.
    Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes; add hot dogs.
    The longer this cooks and sets the better the dogs.
    Simmer at least 1 hour.
