Ingredients

2 gal. sliced cucumbers, sliced 1/4-inch thick
3 pt. vinegar
3 c. granulated sugar
2 Tbsp. turmeric
1 Tbsp. celery seed
1 Tbsp. mustard seed
1 Tbsp. dry mustard
pinch of red pepper
2 lb. onions, sliced

Preparation

Soak cucumbers overnight in a brine of 1 cup salt to 1 gallon water.
