Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients

32 c. sliced cucumbers
8 c. onions
6 tsp. salt
4 tsp. cinnamon
8 tsp. turmeric
2 tsp. alum
6 c. vinegar
8 c. sugar

Preparation

Put all ingredients into large cooker.
Let this cook until it changes color.
Put into jar while hot.
Seal.
