Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    15 small apples
    1 box brown sugar
    2 c. water
    2 sticks oleo
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Parboil apples.
    Wrap in pie dough; pour syrup over.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until brown.
    Use whipping cream, if desired.
