Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. cake flour or plain flour
3 c. sugar
5 whole eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. milk
Preparation

Mix to creamy consistency the butter, Crisco and sugar.
Add one whole egg at a time and beat.
Sift together flour, salt and baking powder, then add flour mixture alternately with milk to butter and sugar mixture.
Add flavoring.
Line bottom of tube pan with waxed paper and grease sides of pan.
Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes at 325\u00b0.
