Foolproof Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 3/4 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients; add shortening and mix with fork until mixture looks like fine cornmeal, then add to egg, water and vinegar.
    Shape into 4 balls and chill before rolling.
