Tamale Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cans tamales
    1 can cream-style corn
    1 medium can diced tomatoes
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 small chopped onion
    1 small can green diced chiles
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and onion; drain liquid.
    In large casserole dish, layer as follows.
    Bottom layer:
    tamales, then spread corn over tamales.
    Next layer:
    Add the tomatoes and salt and pepper to suit taste.
    Cook in a 300\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until bubbly.
    After removing from oven, add ground beef mixture and chiles on top.
    Top with 2 slices of cheese.
    Should melt; if not, place back in oven a few minutes.
