Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1/4 c. white wine vinegar
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/4 c. chopped pimento
    2 tsp. caraway seed
    5 c. fresh sauerkraut, partially drained
Preparation
    Combine sugar, oil and vinegar in a deep bowl and stir until sugar dissolves.
    Blend in onions, peppers, celery, pimento and caraway seed.
    Add sauerkraut and toss to coat completely. Refrigerate overnight before serving.
    This salad keeps well in refrigerator for a month or more.
