Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or oleo
    1 c. brown sugar
    6 or 8 slices drained pineapple
    6 or 8 maraschino cherry halves
    3 egg yolks
    1 c. sugar
    5 Tbsp. pineapple juice
Preparation
    Melt butter in heavy skillet.
    Add sugar and mix well.
    Lay slices of pineapple in pattern in bottom of a skillet or sugar cake pan.
    Put cherry halves in center of each pineapple slice. Decorate with pecan pieces between slices.
    Beat egg yolks.
    Add sugar and pineapple juice; mix well.
    Sift flour and baking powder together.
    Stir into egg mixture.
    Fold egg whites.
    Spoon over pineapple in skillet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until done.
