Squash Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 c. chopped squash
    5 tsp. salt
    5 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1 jar pimentos
    4 c. chopped onions
    2 1/2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Combine squash, onions and salt; cover and let set overnight. In morning, drain good.
    Combine remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.
    Fill jars with squash mixture and hot liquid.
    Seal.
