Marinated Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large cabbage, shredded
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
3/4 cup oil
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. salt
2 grated carrots
Preparation

Mix together oil, sugar, vinegar, mustard, celery seed, salt and carrots. Bring to boil and pour over cabbage onion mixture. Make sure liquid is distributed evenly throughout. Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight. Next morning pour off excess liquid. Will keep in refrigerator for a week or more.
