Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. flour (self-rising)
1/2 c. cooking oil or shortening, melted
1/2 tsp. soda
1/3 c. sugar
3 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1/2 c. warm buttermilk
Preparation

Mix yeast in warm water.
Add sugar and oil.
Mix soda and buttermilk together.
Add this to the yeast mixture.
Add flour. Roll and cut out.
Put melted butter on top of rolls or you can let set for from 1 to 3 hours and cool, cut out and let set from 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Bake at 400\u00b0 until done, about 15 to 20 minutes.
Makes about 30 rolls.
