Kraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    cabbage
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Chop cabbage; pack in quart jars.
    Add salt, sugar and vinegar, then heat water to boiling and fill jars to 1-inch of top.
    Seal and place jars in dark place to make.
    Takes about 3 days, then you can place in cellar, dark place as in box or paper bags.
