Ingredients

3/4 c. brown sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 Tbsp. vanilla
3 Tbsp. butter
pie crust, baked
Preparation

Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt into a saucepan.
Slowly add milk and stir over medium heat until bubbly.
Cook and stir for two minutes.
Remove from heat.
Add 2 tablespoons of your cooked mixture to the egg yolks and mix.
Then add your egg yolk mixture to your cooked mixture and cook 2 minutes longer.
Remove from heat and add vanilla and butter.
Pour into prepared crust and chill until firm.
