The Haggard Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 stick margarine
    1 small can evaporated milk
    dash of salt
    1 c. coconut
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    While cake is baking, mix sugar, milk and margarine in saucepan.
    Boil 2 minutes.
    Add coconut, pecans, salt and vanilla. Pour over cake while both are warm.
    Cool.
    Cut in squares.
