Banana Split Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Crisco pastry shell (9-inch)
    3 medium bananas
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 pt. strawberry ice cream, softened
    1 c. frozen whipped dessert topping, thawed
    whole maraschino cherries
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped walnuts
    chocolate sauce or quick fudge sauce
Preparation
    Bake and cool pastry.
    Thinly sliced bananas.
    Sprinkle with lemon juice and arrange on bottom of pastry shell.
    Spread ice cream over bananas.
    Freeze until firm.
    Spread dessert topping over ice cream.
    Top with cherries.
    Sprinkle
    with nuts.
    Freeze again until firm.
    Serve with canned chocolate sauce.
