Banana Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk, scalded
    2 eggs, separated
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 ripe bananas
    1 baked 8-inch pie shell
    1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix flour, 1/2 cup sugar and salt in top of double boiler. Slowly stir in hot milk; cook until it thickens, stirring constantly.
    Stir a little hot mixture into well beaten egg yolks and pour back in boiler.
    Cook 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat; add vanilla and cool until warm.
    Peel bananas; slice in crust.
    Beat egg white until stiff.
    Add 1/4 cup sugar.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 minutes or until golden brown.
