Possum Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stack Ritz crackers, crushed
    1 c. chopped nuts
    3 egg whites with 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    3/4 to 1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until frothy.
    Add cream of tartar and sugar gradually.
    Beat until peaks.
    Fold in nuts and crackers, etc. Lightly grease pie pan.
    Pour in mixture of egg whites, crackers and nuts.
    Put in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.
    After cooled, add whipped topping and sprinkle coconut on top.
