Country Style Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. onions
    4 c. cabbage
    12 green peppers
    10 green tomatoes
    1/2 c. salt
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 1/2 Tbsp. turmeric
    4 c. vinegar
    6 c. sugar
    2 c. cold water
Preparation
    Grind first 4 ingredients, using blade of food grinder. Drain.
    Sprinkle with salt; let stand overnight.
    Rinse and drain. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over vegetable mixture.
    Heat to full boil.
    Boil 5 minutes.
    Place in clean, hot jars and seal. Makes about 9 pints.
