24 Hour Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

medium size head cabbage, shredded
1 green pepper, diced
1 medium onion, diced
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation

Mix sugar and vinegar together and pour over cabbage, pepper, onion and spices.
Stir well and store in refrigerator about 12 to 24 hours before using.
Keeps well for several days.
